Gorilla - Bronze

This fabulous bronze sculpture of a Lowland Gorilla weighs approximately 45 pounds and measures approximately 16 x 16 x 8 inches with black marble base. This amazing animalier statue was sculpted by artist Anthony D'Urso of Sarasota, Florida and was cast in bronze by the highly skilled founders of New England Sculpture Service in Massachusetts. This excellent foundry uses the time-honored Lost Wax method of bronze casting and incorporates the ceramic slurry technique for mold making which reproduces incredibly accurate surface detail on bronze sculptures. This is a very solid piece reflecting its medium, and it gathers attention wherever it is placed. It also happens to be the first of its kind in a limited edition of 40 signed and numbered sculptures. I am delighted to answer any questions regarding this artwork in bronze.
